The trundle bed, easily fits under the day bed when not in use, and can be slid out ( courtesy of the well placed wheels) and can be popped up to provide an extra bed when needed for those guests…hey presto a double bed.

Both the day bed and trundle have a posture sprung slatted base and take a standard  2ft 6 or 3ft  single size mattress.
